Visit to Rosario

Today, Ana & I drove four hours south (from Ensenada), to the town of Rosario. A community of approx 5,000 people (mostly fishing and a bit of farming) and three churches (totaling approx 250 people).
We went to meet with one of the churches, that has a vision to grow. They have raising their own funds over the past two years to replace their aging (and crumbling) church building. This past summer, they raized the old building and spent one month preparing the foundation & floor for the new building ($3,000) that is 42' x 68'.
It is great to see a small church in a poor area of Mexico, trusting in God, giving of their own, in order to realize a vision.
We talked about having vision and training up leaders, while reaching out to the community.

It is our hope to continue connecting people & resources to areas further south in Mexico. Please pray with us as we are open to partnering with this church seeing this vision become a reality.
